The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine is an exciting, team-based business simulation designed to enhance collaboration, leadership, and strategic thinking. Participants form teams and work together to “mine as much gold as WE can” while balancing resource management, risk, and competition. Through this fun and interactive exercise, participants experience real-world business challenges and learn the value of cooperation over competition. OBJECTIVE
The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine is all about teamwork—”Mine as much gold as WE can!” Success depends on effective communication, resource management, and collaboration. Just like in real business, strategic decisions and cooperation lead to the best results.
Teams must make smart choices with their limited resources, as poor decisions can be costly. The game creates a dynamic environment where individual behavior, teamwork, and trust determine overall performance.
